Ancient Boom

A condensed version of the primary series, fit within 60 minutes. Every Ashtanga class is taught the exact same way, incorporating 26 standing, balancing and seated postures in the same sequence. The focus is on breath, bandhas, and drishti as students hold postures for 5-7 breaths building an internal fire allowing the body to detox and strengthen.

I came to yoga teacher training the same way I came to yoga as a student: looking to deepen a physical practice with a love for movement and exercise, but wanting my asana practice to extend beyond the mat. As my yoga journey unfolds, I’ve come to love meditation and stillness as much as I love movement. I’m grateful to have found grounding through a daily gratitude practice and I want to invite students to welcome a similar joyfulness and curiosity as they approach yoga.

Yoga teacher training has taught me the importance of slowing down and looking within. It’s amazing how much growth can happen when you are kind to yourself and show up to your mat. I have learned the power of confidence, leading with kindness, and expressing gratitude. Yoga is a gift to yourself and by practicing we start to understand and love ourselves just a little bit more each day. I will carry this journey of self-love, curiosity, and growth with me for the rest of my life.

My why behind teaching is simple: To support others. I come to my mat to heal from the inside out and I love holding space for others to do the same as they embark on their own journey inward.

Yoga has made beautiful, unexpected, and almost effortless shifts in my life. My goal is to offer a safe, comfortable and welcoming space for students of all levels. From there, my hope is for you to bring you, everything that makes you unique and imperfectly perfect. Collectively we will move, breathe and connect. I continue to equally look forward to guiding you and practicing alongside you.

Practicing yoga is relaxation in the purest form. Our breath that flows through the body is full of possibilities and each posture is pack loaded with benefits. I hope to practice next to you, breathe with you or guide you soon!
